I'm Chase Johnsen, founder of Freebird Barbershop.

I'm a San Diego native who built Freebird around the type of shop I always wished existed—a neighborhood barbershop where craftsmanship comes before speed and every haircut starts with an honest conversation.

Instead of rushing clients through the chair, I take time to understand your hair type, growth patterns, daily routine, and long-term goals. The result is a haircut that not only looks great the day you leave but continues looking good as it grows.
